NBCR is continuing to care during COVID-19

It’s in our nature to care.

The health of you, us and all our Community is very important to us.

We have made some changes to the way we normally operate to ensure that all our Patients, our Staff and our Community remain safe.

We are still:

• Staffed by our dedicated Administrative team and our Surgeons
  
• Receiving phone calls / messages on 9972 9277
  
• Receiving emails to info@nbcr.com.au
  
• Taking referrals (for new and previous patients)
  
• Communicating with our colleagues in General Practice and other specialties
  
• Seeing urgent appointments in our rooms (by arrangement)
  
• Conducting all previously arranged appointments and procedures where appropriate
  
• Performing procedures for urgent Category 1 and Category 2 patients
  
• Ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests (bloods, x-rays, scans, scripts, pathology results)
  
• Staying in contact with all our patients and colleagues by telephone, email and SMS

• Strict COVID-19 protocols in place (social distancing, hand hygiene, PPE, cleaning/sterilising)
  
• Restricted our appointment slots and duration
  
• Restricted the number of accompanying persons to ONE per patient
  
• Limited your arrival time to 5 minutes prior to your appointment
  
• Commenced Telehealth consults (bulk-billed to Medicare = no out-of-pocket costs)
  
• Expanded our contact-less e-commerce options
  
• Taken steps to ensure that our most vulnerable patients remain safe
  
• Taken steps to ensure that our Staff and our Surgeons remain safe
  
• Remained compliant with all Federal, State, Local and Hospital safety policies

We know how distressing it is to be sick – and these unprecedented and challenging times can make it seem worse.

But, please remember, we are here to help.
